1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website Reservacity.com (“Site”) and any related services offered by Reservacity. By using this Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you should not use this Site.
Avoiding Commission
Owners must not ask guests to cancel a booking and rebook directly to avoid paying commission. Guests should not accept or participate in any such requests from owners.
If Reservacity.com suspects this has occurred:

The guest may be suspended from the Reservacity platform; and/or

The value of the commission may be deducted from future bookings by the owner; and/or
-
The property listing may be suspended; and/or
-
Reservacity.com may pursue legal action.
2. Booking and Payment

To reserve a property, you must pay 10% of the total booking amount online at the time of reservation.

The remaining 90% is payable directly to the property owner upon arrival.

The 90% balance will be shown on your booking receipt; however, the actual amount may vary due to exchange rate fluctuations.

Exchange rate differences will not exceed 25% of the rate shown in the currency simulator in the footer of the home page of Reservacity.com.

If the exchange rate at the property is more than 25% higher than the simulator rate, you have the right to cancel your booking and your deposit will be refunded to the account used for payment.
3. Cancellations and Refunds

You must cancel at least 24 hours before check-in (or more if the property owner specifies in their cancellation policy) to receive a deposit refund.

If you fail to show up without cancelling, you will not be refunded.

To cancel, contact the property owner directly. If they do not respond within 3 hours, you must also contact us immediately.

Cancellation policies vary by property. It is your responsibility to review and agree to the property’s policy before booking.
4. Guest Information and Behaviour

You must provide the accurate number of guests at the time of booking.

Property owners may deny check-in if the number of guests exceeds the booking details, and no payment will be accepted in such cases.

You must adhere to the behavioural policy of the property, including restrictions on activities (e.g., no parties if stated by the property).
5. Currency and Payments

The base currency of Reservacity is USD.

If the property is outside the US, the owner may not accept USD. You are responsible for having the correct local currency.

Auto-payments and deposits are processed in the payment currency you select, but final settlement is made at the property.
6. Privacy Policy
Personal Identification Information
We may collect personal information from Users in connection with bookings, inquiries, or use of our Site. Users may visit the Site anonymously. We will collect personal identification information only if voluntarily provided.
Non-Personal Identification Information
We may collect non-personal data such as browser type, device details, and connection information.
Cookies
The Site may use cookies to improve User experience. Users can adjust browser settings to refuse cookies, but some features may not function properly.
Data Protection
We implement security measures to protect your personal data from unauthorised access or disclosure.
Sharing Information
We do not sell or rent personal data. We may share non-identifiable aggregated data with partners for service purposes.
